Kebbi Police Commissioner And Four Aides Die In Auto Crash

The commissioner of police of Kebbi state, Alhaji Saadu Umar Dalhatu, has died. The police officer died around 2 AM on Kano-Azare road.

According to a police source the police commissioner's convoy ran into a stationary vehicle on the highway and died instantly .

Four of his aides including two mobile police escorts also died in the accident. Alhaji Dalhatu was on his way to the passing out parade scheduled for today at the Police academy in Kano.

Alhaji Dalhatu was born in Azare, Bauchi state on April 16th 1958. He was buried this morning according to Muslim rites.
