Police Invade Court , Re-Arrest ACN Gubernatorial Candidate

Some 75 operatives of the mobile police unit of the Nigerian police forcefully arrested the gubernatorial candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, John Akpanudoedehe, from the premises of the federal high court in Abuja shortly after he was granted bail by the court from a subsisting "treason charge" before Justice Adamu Bello.

Senator Akpanudoedehe was briskly moved from the court to the police headquarters and later flown to Uyo in Akwa Ibom state where the police plans to charge him for murder.
