Governor Shema Of Katsina in Ghastly Auto Accident

Governor of Katsina state, Ibrahim Shema, was in serious auto accident today in Katsina as his convoy traveled to meet president Goodluck Jonathan to campaign in the state.

The aide-de-camp to the governor died in the accident while the governor sustained bruises on his arm.

It unclear if  other fatal casualties occured but a source told Naija News Desk that other aides of the governor, injured in the auto accident, were taken to the hospital in the state.


The governor was then at the airport to receive the president. He will be campaigning in Daura the home town of his rival, retired general, Muhammad Buhari of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).

Shema has come under fire for supporting Jonathan for re-election as president.
