S.O.S: Appointment of M.D. Abubakar As IGP.

I wish to state that, the appointment of M. D. Abubakar is not a round peg in a round hole. It is obvious that, a lot of things were not taken into consideration before the appointment of Alhaji M. D. Abubakar as the head of Africa’s most populous Police Institution.
MD Abubakar
Alhaji M. D. Abubakar’s antecedents in the Force were not strictly scrutinized, especially the atrocities committed by him during Jos crisis of 2001, which resulted to massive lost of lives and properties of dear citizens of Nigeria. The indictment of Justice Niki Tobi’s judicial commission of enquiry is enough, not only to send M. D. Abubakar on retirement from the Force, but sufficient to send this callous religious fanatic/extremist of a Police officer to outright dismissal from the Force and thereafter, be prosecuted for the heinous crime against humanity.
This appointment, if not quickly revisited with apology to Nigerians, will be construed to mean a calculated attempt by the government to further inflict more pains on innocent non Muslim Nigerians/Southerners and to make them live in perpetual fear of insecurity.
It is pertinent to draw the attention of those that recommended and appointed M.D. Abubakar for this job to note that the evil role played by this extremist in what was said to be religious crisis in Jos, Plateau State in 2001, when M. D. Abubakar was serving as the Commissioner of Police in Plateau State cannot be underestimated.
He was gravely accused by the Justice Niki Tobi Judicial Commission of Enquiry of transparent collaboration with his Hausa/Fulani Muslims brothers during the crisis to unleash mayhem on harmless Christians and southerners in Jos, where over one thousand Christians/Southerners were killed.
Whether or not the recommendations of Justice Niki Tobi’s commission of enquiry are swept under the carpet, the fact remains that, Alhaji M. D. Abubakar has no clean records to merit the appointment of Inspector General of Police; and there should be an explanation as to why this religiously biased Police officer should be so motivated.
This great apostle of Islamic Jihad which has gradually metamorphosed into what is today known as the Boko Haram Sect, following his neck bent inclination to religious extremism, remains a vital tool to Boko Haram Sect. He is an irredeemable fanatic who will never compromise his support/love for fanatical activities, no matter his pretence; he is a wolf in a sheep’s skin.
His antecedents have proved him to be exceedingly biased,   both religiously and ethnically. This appointment might not be too comfortable for non Muslim police officers/southerners.
To make an ideal Police Force that will be fully democratic and free from ethnic/religious sentiments, those who recommended Alhaji M. D. Abubakar for the job of Inspector General of Police should have a rethink of possible boomerangs that such appointment might cause to the unity of Nigeria.
Alhaji M. D. Abubakar was fingered to be the grand sponsor of the attack on Police Force Headquarters, Abuja in 2011, just to discredit and ridicule his predecessor the immediate past Inspector General of Police – Hafiz Ringim, whom sources claimed both were not in a very good working relationship. He was fingered in the car bomb blast that exploded and killed Dr. Sola Omatsola – a NADECO chieftain and Chief Security Officer, Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, during General Sani Abacha’s clampdown on NADECO Chieftains.
The sponsored publication that Alhaji M.D. Abubakar’s tenures of service in Lagos, Benin and Calabar were hitch-free is nothing but fallacy. These periods were so calm, because there were no Hausa/Fulani Muslim rivals in these communities.
It is imperative to note that, Zakari Biu is the like of Alhaji M. D. Abubakar, who was suspended from the force due to his atrocities, but was sneaked back into the force through a back door to execute a purpose. He really made good his mission by accelerating the mysterious escape of Kabiru Sokoto – the coward who masterminded the bombing of the Christmas day bomb blast in Madalla, near Abuja, that claimed lives of Christians during Xmas service – what a sacrilege?
Appeal to Mr. President, Federal Republic of Nigeria to urgently call for the recommendations of Justice Niki Tobi Judicial Commission of Enquiry, and promptly execute them as recommended, to serve as deterrent to others with ulterior intention to derail the unity of Nigeria.
