MEMBERS of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State are angry with Governor Adams Oshiomhole over the multi-billion naira mansion he is allegedly building at his Iyamho Village in Etsako West Local Government.
Because of this, the party leadership yesterday told the governor to forget his re-election on July 14, insisting that it was shocked that 'the people's governor' is living in affluence while the people are living in abject poverty.

Photographs of the imposing mansion, estimated by the PDP at about N10 billion, were shown to a capacity crowd during the launch of the over 10,000 registered members of the Oredo Chapter of the Volunteers for GC (General Charles), held at the Oba Akenzua Cultural Centre, Benin, the state capital.
According to the leadership of the party, the mansion contains several buildings, a golf course which construction cost is put at over N4 billion, a water fountain, among others.
It is being constructed by a South African firm.
