Delta State Election Stalemate As Uduaghan Cook Up Numbers From Warri.

Emmanuel Udughan surrounde by bodyguards

The final results of the Delta state gubernatorial election is attracting mass demonstrations in Asaba with soldiers beating up protesters on Agbor highway as they approached Asaba, the state capital.

As at the time of filing this report, the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) had won convincingly in 12 local government areas while the People's Democratic Party (PDP) had also claimed victory in 13 LGAs.

However, results emanating from Warri North, Warri South and Warri South West local government areas show that the PDP had seriously manipulated the figures as over 200,000 votes suddenly popped up to raise the sagging numbers of Emmanuel Uduaghan, the current governor in the state.

INEC officials in collusion with the state governors might declare Uduaghan the winner but voters in the state determined to stop Mr. Uduaghan's corrupt regime has began mobilizing to protest the results. Citizen reporters across  the state said tension has enveloped the state as INEC is set to rig in Uduaghan again.
