R & B singer and CEO, Empire Mates record label, Banky W, is currently baring his fangs via social network Twitter following pundits criticism of his debut single, Ebute Metta.
The singer tweeted during the week via Tweetdeck that his ‘foes’ have been ‘after him’ since he released the single.
He blasted the pundits who sees nothing good in him insisting that since the tune of the song wasn’t originally his, his ability as great song writer was in doubt.

They buttressed their argument saying he wouldn’t have made a hit if he hadn’t come in with an already known tune.

And as soon as he bared his mind on his handle, comments poured in from friends who advised that he (Banky) shun ‘bad belles’, as he has since proven his worth as a good song writer and shown his ability to rise up to any occassion.
Consolation words poured from the likes of Beamcutie88 who tweeted : @BankyW neva listen to wah pple say,let dem even try nd do wat u did wit dat song.
Another contributor, Seankas also posted his comment, saying that the Ebute Metta crooner has over the years surely done better than his debut single. “@BankyW I used 2, bt ova d years you’ve proven 2me dat u better dan dat. And I moved on. So 4get.
Banky W made his debut into the Nigerian music industry with his hit song, Ebute Metta. It was an instant hit especially because its tune was got from Rihanna’s Umbrella. Subsequently, the dude has since dropped hit songs like Lagos Party, Strong Thing, Don’t Break My heart and others.
